Kashmiri youth arrested in Punjab on charges of economic offences | KNO

A Kashmiri youth Adil Hussain Teli of Yaripora Kulgam was arrested in Jalandar, Punjab over his alleged involvement in hacking and economic offence case, a police spokesman said here.

According to the police spokesman, soon after the social networking sites and a section of media carried a news about the disappearance of a Kashmir youth from Jalandar, Punjab the J&K Police communicated its Punjab counterpart where it was found the youth Adil Hussain Teli son of Mohammad Hussain Teli resident of Noonmai, Yaripora Kulgam has been taken into custody by the Cyber Cell of Delhi police and is being investigated for his alleged involvement in hacking and economic offences.

Adil according to the initial reports is pursuing his Bachelors Degree in Computer Applications from St. Soldiers Group Of Institutions The exams of his 6th semester are scheduled to begin from May 2. “The family of the said person as per the rules has been informed about it,” the police spokesman added.
